

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index closed on a damaging observe on Thursday.
Shares of Abbott India(up 0.58 per cent), Divis Laboratories(up 0.21 per cent), Pfizer(up 0.17 per cent) and Sanofi India(up 0.11 per cent) ended the day as high gainers within the pack.
Alternatively, Granules India(down 6.36 per cent), Biocon(down 3.2 per cent), Laurus(down 2.86 per cent), Glenmark Prescription drugs(down 2.2 per cent) and Torrent Prescription drugs(down 2.09 per cent) completed as the highest losers of the day.
The Nifty Pharma index closed 0.74 per cent down at 15580.7.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 89.45 factors at 19543.1, whereas the BSE Sensex stood down 307.63 factors at 65688.18.
Among the many 50 shares within the Nifty index, 18 ended within the inexperienced, whereas 31 closed within the crimson.
