Rolling contracts doesn’t have absolute expiry and strike. Once we hyperlink these to a relative time period, then it turns into rolling contract.
As an alternative to expiry date, we use Present Month, Subsequent Month, Third month, 1st week, 2nd week
As an alternative to Strike, we hyperlink it to the spot worth that time limit. ATM- On the cash, OTM 1 – 1 away from ATM, OTM 2 – 2 away from ATM
These are helpful when you find yourself performing a backtest or executing a set choices technique regularly.
