Shares of IDFCBANK(up 2.61 per cent), AU Small Finance Financial institution(up 1.1 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Financial institution(up 0.47 per cent), Financial institution of Baroda(up 0.11 per cent) and State Financial institution of India(up 0.03 per cent) ended the day as high gainers within the pack.
Then again, Bandhan Financial institution(down 3.48 per cent), IndusInd Financial institution(down 0.97 per cent), Axis Financial institution(down 0.83 per cent), ICICI Financial institution(down 0.4 per cent) and Punjab Nationwide Financial institution(down 0.38 per cent) completed as the highest losers of the day.
The Nifty Financial institution index closed 0.21 per cent down at 43988.0.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 39.75 factors at 18755.9, whereas the BSE Sensex stood up 85.35 factors at 63228.51.
