NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index traded constructive round 10:04AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

MPhasis(up 0.93 per cent), L&T Know-how(up 0.61 per cent), Persistent Techniques(up 0.43 per cent), Coforge(up 0.34 per cent) and Tata Consultancy(up 0.27 per cent) have been among the many prime gainers.

HCL Applied sciences(down 0.54 per cent), Tech Mahindra(down 0.11 per cent) and Infosys(down 0.01 per cent) have been the highest losers on the index.

The Nifty IT index was up 0.09 per cent at 29383.4 on the time of penning this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 90.65 factors at 18590.0, whereas the BSE Sensex was up 344.95 factors at 62846.64.
