NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index closed on a unfavourable observe on Thursday.
Shares of Coforge(up 1.56 per cent), Tech Mahindra(up 0.64 per cent), Wipro(up 0.2 per cent) and LTIMindtree Ltd(up 0.05 per cent) ended the day as high gainers within the pack.

However, L&T Expertise(down 1.07 per cent), HCL Applied sciences(down 0.86 per cent), MPhasis(down 0.61 per cent), Tata Consultancy(down 0.59 per cent) and Infosys(down 0.38 per cent) completed as the highest losers of the day.

The Nifty IT index closed 0.24 per cent down at 30867.0.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 89.45 factors at 19543.1, whereas the BSE Sensex stood down 307.63 factors at 65688.18.
Among the many 50 shares within the Nifty index, 18 ended within the inexperienced, whereas 31 closed within the purple.
