NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index closed on a unfavorable notice on Friday.

Shares of HCL Applied sciences(up 0.15 per cent) ended the day as prime gainers within the pack.

Alternatively, L&T Expertise(down 4.19 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd(down 1.38 per cent), Persistent Programs(down 1.34 per cent), Infosys(down 1.29 per cent) and MPhasis(down 1.29 per cent) completed as the highest losers of the day.

The Nifty IT index closed 0.89 per cent down at 28554.3.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 105.75 factors at 18665.5, whereas the BSE Sensex stood down 259.52 factors at 62979.37.

Among the many 50 shares within the Nifty index, 10 ended within the inexperienced, whereas 40 closed within the pink.
Shares of Suzlon Power, Vodafone Thought, Reliance Energy, IDFC First Financial institution and Zomato have been among the many most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of Wheels India, LG Balakrishnan, Synergy Inexperienced Ind, De Nora India and TD Energy Sys hit their contemporary 52-week highs in at the moment’s commerce, whereas A G Common, Infollion Analysis, City Enviro Waste, Marvel Decor and Spectrum Expertise Mana hit their contemporary 52-week lows.
